Honeybottom House
We were commissioned to refurbish and remodel the existing grade 2 listed house. The existing building had a central 17th century core with early 20th century additions. The original house had been converted into three dwellings and our brief was to convert it back to a family house.
The house was reroofed in its entirety and new metal casements in oak subframes replaced all the old Crittall windows. Extensive internal alterations included rationalizing the numerous staircases with one main stair, designed to serve seven different levels and a second stair serving a staff flat.
Finishes and detailing were to a very high standard, extending to the external works and landscaping, including croquet lawn.
