Pitstone Copse
This house was designed for a woodland site adjacent to a golf course. It has been designed to combine all the 21st century needs with a contemporary architecture using a traditional language.
The entrance hall is octagonal with all the important space leading from it with almost zero circulation space. There is a central courtyard allowing a sheltered garden. The upper level is more modest in size with balconies taking advantage of the south sun and overlooking the extensive gardens.
The house is heated and cooled by a ground source heat pump.
